New item in my shop!!! Hey Everyone, I hope everyone is thawing out from the weather we had this past weekend. It was even super cold here in the sunshine state. I barely got out of my pajamas on Saturday. lol Anyway here is my latest project that is now in my etsy shop. This was a request from a client and I have to say that it was fun. Here it is....   Aren't these so adorable. She is having a fun mermaid birthday party for her little girl and these are going to be the cupcake toppers. Sometimes I want my daughter to be little again so I can throw parties like this for her again. Although this yr she graduates and I think we are going to be doing like a Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland theme. I am going to have fun with that one!! Now these beauties were a little bit of work let me tell you. I embossed the front of the body and then I ran the tail through my crinkler ( I don't know the real name of that thing lol) .  Finally I took four different colors of stickles a...

Lets Kick Our Heels Up!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!              I hope you are having a marvelous Saturday! Enjoying family, friends and loved ones. I have been busy in my craft room creating some fun gifts for a bridal shower. I really like finding unique items for parties or showers. Whenever I am in Target or Walmart or even places like Party City you always see the same things over and over again and I know that for me I really want my event to stand out, to look different, and (for our world wide web dimension we live in right now) to be Pinterest worthy!  When I saw this shoe file I knew I had to have it and will be using it for many events!  This file comes from the one and only  svgcuts.com  it is part of there Love Always kit.  It is one of their older kits but to be honest I don't think any of their files ever get old. I just love Mary and Leo for their contribution to the craft world!! Thanks guys!!      ...

New Project and we are finally settled in!!

Good Afternoon or early evening beautiful people. It has been a very long time since I have been on my blog. I am happy to say after about 4 yrs of moving and transition we are finally settled into our new home and I am now able to have a craft room again and get back to doing what I love.     We have settled back in Florida actually right back where we left over 9 yrs ago. It is funny how God likes to bring us full circle. We actually ended up building our house on the five acres that we had purchased 14 yrs ago. I always thought we would sell it and live some where else but here are back and I couldn't be happier!!    My family and I have had an amazing journey and have been able to meet God in new ways and experience life the way he meant for us to live it. It is absolutely beautiful and wildly fun!!!! Anyways let me get to the project! ( thats why you come here anyway right!)  So I am a big fan of svgcuts.com  Mary and Leo are amazingly talented peo...

using Silhouette Studio files with Ecal and MTC

Good Evening, I planned on posting this a little earlier but my day got away from me. That doesn't happen to anyone else does it? lol! Anyway I have a quick post today with a video tutorial. I absolutely LOVE the Silhouette Online Store. It is awesome and the files that are on there are awesome too! Well I no longer have the Cameo because in the my last post you were able to see that I decided to keep the Sizzix Eclips 2. Well I had already subscribed to the silhouette store and had purchased several files. So I knew I needed to figure out a way to use them. I had actually seen a post on a forum describing what to do. I went ahead and tried it but had to tweak a few things to get mine to work. Here is a video that shows you how to use those files so you don't feel like you wasted your money. Have a great night everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog!! Crystal

My first project with the Sizzix Eclips 2

I know, I know I have not been very good lately at this whole blogging thing. I apologize. Hopefully some of my followers will stick around. I have been experiencing some major shifting in life in the last 2 yrs and am finally starting to see settled ground!  Anyway you are here for inspiration right? Paper craft inspiration to be exact. That is what I can give you today!!  Recently I purchased a new die cutting machine. Actually I purchased two because I wasnt sure which one I wanted. I purchased both the Silhouette Cameo and the New Sizzix Eclips 2.  The Cameo because I love the online store and everyone raves about this machine so I figured it has to be good. The Eclips 2 because it looked great and the grams of force is 700. Thats as much as my Zing had. I liked my Zing but I had to buy a Mac and the software just wasn't 100% percent functional yet with the Mac so I sold the Zing.  Here is a photo of both machines:  So I...

It has been a long time…but I am back with a new cutter!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! I know that it has been a long time since I have posted especially anything about papercrafting but I have settled in down here in Florida and am ready to start crafting again. I will be changing the name of my blog soon because I well, no longer own a cricut. I thought about this decision for a long time and came to the conclusion that I just felt limited with the cricut and I wanted full design capability. So I actually turned back to the company that I started with as far as having a larger cutting machine. I went with the KNK Zing! So far I love this machine. I used to own the KNK Element and I loved it but I was using it for a business that eventually burned me out when it came to designing anything. That is when I decided to invest in the cricut machine. Now that I’ve had a break  I realized how much I enjoyed having the ability to design if I want to.  Here are a few things that I have done so far with the machine: This was a fun l...

Fun with Puns!!!!

Good Monday Morning all!  First and foremost I must tell you that as of right now my comments are still not working. I am in the process of downloading Google Chrome and I really hope that fixes the problems. When I come onto a blog even my own I only have a few seconds to look at the comments and then my screen goes white. I am hoping to have it fixed with in the next few hours I will let you know. You have all been doing such awesome work and I have not been able to comment on it. Or even get to read my own comments that you all have left.  UGH!!!! As you know by now Monday means many things, school, work, responsibility and once again a FCCB Challenge!!! This weeks challenge is one that I find rather enjoyable. They are all enjoyable but this one fits my style. This weeks challenge is called Fun with Puns. Create a card or project using a funny pun somewhere on the project. There are so many great punny titles out there that it was very hard to figure out what I wante...

FCCB Challenge Me Monday!!!

Good Monday Morning Everyone.......Did you all enjoy the Superbowl last night? I must admit that we do not really keep up with football but I grew up a Giants fan and whenever they are in it I watch. So it was pretty neat that the last Superbowl I watched was the one 4 yrs ago where they played and beat the Patriots and then being able to watch last night a repeat was awesome!! (Sorry for the Patriots fans) Now onto today's challenge over at FCCB. Love is in the air..everytime I turn around..LOL!!! Well today's challenge is exactly that, Love is in the air challenge. The challenge is to make a project with a heart on it and this weeks sponsor is ...... K ANDREWS STAMPS!!!! I am still new to stamps and I was super excited to use these stamps. I was lucky enough to use the Key to my heart mini stamp set that right now you can get for free when you purchase $25.00 or more worth of products. That is a great deal. Here is what I made for the Challenge: This is just a...
Sorry this took me so long to post, I have had alot going on this morning and will probably be leaving for upstate NY really soon!! This week for Challenge Me Monday on FCCB is to make a 3x3 Valentine's day card. Here is the Card that I made: I simply cut a piece of cardstock to 3x3 then embossed it with the cuttlebug added some bling!! I also cut a scalloped circle out of vellum inked it in silver ink and then embossed it with the hearts cuttlebug folder. I really liked the outcome of that circle. I used the Be Mine sentiment from Simply charmed and then finally added the flower and pink ribbon. This was a very simple card but none the less very fun and I think it came out cute.!! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to make your own 3x3 Valentines card for the Challenge over at FCCB! God Bless

Snow Fun!!! Challenge Me Monday!!!

Hi everyone! I know that it has been a long time since I have been on my blog and I wish that I could say that it wont happen again but I cant. I am so busy with homeschooling my kids and trying to get in shape and keeping the house organized that blogging has been set on the back burner. I will try to get on here when I can and of course I will be on when there are Challenges for FCCB.... that leads me to today. Today is Monday and that means it is time for another Challenge over at FCCB . Today the challenge is Snow fun and that is a perfect theme for this part of the year and it is a really fun theme too. So many ideas came to my mind when preparing for this challenge. I was so blessed to be able to use EAD designs on my project this week they have the cutest stickers and rub ons and I found the perfect way to use them on my project. Here is my project ( sorry I am still not good at taking pics) This was a fun layout and I am actually thinking about creating another one and making a...

FCCB Challenge Me Monday!!!!!

Hi everyone!!! I pray that you are all doing well. I know that for me it has been somewhat crazy here around the house with all of the things that have to be done for Christmas!! I am so completely behind!!! Well, today at FCCB there is another challenge and it is all about ribbon. The challenge is called Rolling in Ribbon and I was very blessed to have some ribbon given to me from My Craft spot to use in my project this week!!!!!!!! Here is my project: Just a simple one page layout. I was able to use the vintage christmas ribbon with Vanilla, Cranberry and Toadally green from My Craft Spot. I simply kept the ribbon crinkled and used it as a hanging piece ( Well so that it looked like it was hanging!!) I used Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge for the Ornaments and presents . That is about it and I am sorry to keep this short but with Christmas and all I am super busy!!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

FCCB Moday Challenge!!!

Happy Monday Bloggers and Welcome to Little Creations for the Cricut!! I hope that you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Sorry for the recent absence but I am back now and I even have a quick project for today! Today is Challenge Me Monday over at FCCB and todays theme is Holiday Cards so I hurried last night to get this out. With the holiday and family and shopping I didn't even get home till yesterday afternoon!! Here is my project: It is my first Gateway Card, I had never made one of these before. This was a really quick card. I think it only took me about 20 min. I used Joys of the Season Cartridge for the Wreath and Peace!! I had never used this cart before and it is really great for Christmas!! I added some eyelets in each corner just to give that little extra something. I wasn't sure how I could fasten the card at the opening. Then I found some old velcro and it worked pretty good for the card. It is not so pretty but works good!! Then I did some simple stamping on the i...

A Tragic Loss

My Heart has been breaking and the tears just seem to keep coming!! In the picture above is a sweet dear friend who was tragically killed this weekend in a small plane crash. For those of you in Florida I am sure that you have heard the news of a small plane crash in the everglades. This was his plane he was the pilot. This is such shocking news to all because he was such a good pilot and careful flyer!! We are all searching for answers and praying that the Lord will reveal this week to give closure especially to the family! Ryan Ruano had to have been one of the funnest, sweetest, happiest people I have ever met. That smile on his face was a permanent fixture!! He lived his life to the fullest never missing a beat!!! Always doing the things that he loved and having a blast doing them!! I moved to Florida when I was 19 and after a week of being there I met the man that I would marry Kevin!! Well 3 days after meeeting him I decided to walk down to the local hardware store where he worke...

Book Lover Challenge at FCCB!!!!

Hi everyone and welcome to Little Creations for the Cricut!! I am so psyched today because it is my first day as being apart of the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog design team. If you haven’t checked out their blog it is a must! This great team has something everyday for the paper lover in all of us!! Each Monday is a challenge me Monday and today happens to be Monday and so the challenge has begun!!! This weeks challenge is titled Book Lover. All you have to do is create something about books or with books. Well it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to make for this challenge. In fact I chuckled somewhat because I thought that this was pretty tough for my first challenge! LOL!! I was going to just do a layout but for some reason I didn’t want to so then I came up with this: Some of you may be wondering what this is exactly so let me explain. I am a homeschool mom and I have a 7 yr old son who is really starting to read quite well. In our school he has several book...
