using Silhouette Studio files with Ecal and MTC

Good Evening, I planned on posting this a little earlier but my day got away from me. That doesn't happen to anyone else does it? lol! Anyway I have a quick post today with a video tutorial.

I absolutely LOVE the Silhouette Online Store. It is awesome and the files that are on there are awesome too! Well I no longer have the Cameo because in the my last post you were able to see that I decided to keep the Sizzix Eclips 2. Well I had already subscribed to the silhouette store and had purchased several files. So I knew I needed to figure out a way to use them.

I had actually seen a post on a forum describing what to do. I went ahead and tried it but had to tweak a few things to get mine to work. Here is a video that shows you how to use those files so you don't feel like you wasted your money.

Have a great night everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog!!

  1. Hi Crystal,
I have a Eclips2 and would like to purchase some designs from the Silhouette store to use on my ecal program. I viewed your video, but when I click on my print button I don't get the PDF button like your video shows. Could this be because I downloaded the "FREE" version, I don't have the Cameo so I only downloaded the free program.? I am also on a Windows based computer.

    1. so sorry Steph, I havent been blogging in awhile but am getting back in. It is def because you are on a windows platform. I will be working on that this week. The free trial software should have all the capabilites as far as changing colors and fill as the paid version. I do know that it is limited on editing features. I will be learning the windows technique this week due to now I also have a pc that I am working with. Thanks
